How to Let Regular Clients Rebook in Seconds
Most service businesses earn the bulk of their money from regulars: the dog trainer seeing the same clients every fortnight, the cleaner with a standing weekly slot, the groomer every six weeks.
The easiest time to book a regular again is the end of the session, while they are standing in front of you and have their diary open. If rebooking means opening a form and typing their name, phone, email and address again, it is quicker to say "I'll text you", and many of those texts never get sent.
What fast rebooking looks like
- Nothing retyped. The client's address, contact details and anything you asked last time are already filled in.
- Only the new choices. You pick the date and time, and that's it.
- Still a proper booking. It checks your availability, lands in your calendar and sends the client their confirmation, just like an online booking.
Get it down to about ten seconds and you can do it in front of the client, while they confirm the time on the spot.
Other ways to keep regulars coming back
- Book the next one before they leave. Make it a habit at the end of every session: "Same time in two weeks?"
- Keep notes on each client. Their dog's triggers, their skin type, the gate code. Regulars notice when you remember.
- Know who has gone quiet. A client who used to come monthly and hasn't booked in three months is worth a friendly message.
How this works in ZipScheduler
Open any past booking, or the client's profile, and click Book again. Your booking page opens with their area already checked and their name, contact details, address and booking answers filled in. You choose the service, date and time. The booking appears in your Google Calendar like any other.
On the Pro plan, every client also has a profile with their full history, your notes, tags such as "Regular" or "VIP", and your own client fields.
